Whereas a “disciple” is one who learns by following God’s Word, an “apostle” is a messenger for Jesus Christ. And both entail preparation as individuals to effectively defend the faith in an increasingly hostile culture. As such, here at Government St. we emphasize becoming proactive learners and prepared witnesses, offering a community-wide Wednesday 6:00 PM interdenominational study in a round-table setting.

In this study, a historical and factually-based approach to the Scriptures is used, as few other events in ancient history have more reliable and multiply attested eyewitnesses than to the events surrounding Jesus’ ministry and the acts of the apostles during the first 30 years of the Church.
